A few of the folks at the office told me about this novel, and I'm taking pleasure in it.
It's called The Alchemist by an author named Paulo Coelho. Evidently it's well known because it's sold over two million copies around the world,
Paulo Coelho's novel tells a magical narrative of an Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago. The boy wants to travel searching for a luxurious worldly prize, and that is his driving dream.
But the story of the treasures Santiago discovers along the way demonstrates to us more about the crucial wisdom of listening to our hearts, and discovering to take our own direction from the signs and signals scattered along life's journey, and pursuing our dreams.
